Since the age of 11, Keith Leaphart’s life has been defined by entrepreneurship, starting with what his middle school teachers referenced as an “illegal” candy business that he operated as a student in the Philadelphia School District. Undeterred, he then used his business acumen to ascend to the role of “head paperboy” in his West Oak Lane neighborhood. Leaphart is now the brand manager of Replica, a design and print firm dedicated to providing the highest quality of print and marketing materials. He works with the team to create the strategic vision for the brand. He has a B.S. in biology from Hampton University, and he completed a dual DO/MBA program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Saint Joseph’s University, respectively. Despite the inherent challenges of a dual degree program, Leaphart successfully operated both a commercial cleaning and event planning business during graduate school. It was during those entrepreneurial pursuits that he gained exposure to design/print practices, leading him to pursue a career in the industry.
