The Aspen Challenge has launched in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia in 2017. Twenty teams from across the city participated.

In its fifth year, the Aspen Challenge took place in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia. Over the course of eight weeks, 20 teams across the city designed original solutions to critical issues and showcased them for a panel of local judges. Three teams advanced to present at the 2017 Aspen Ideas Festival.
