Aisha Alexander

Aisha Alexander is the director of community initiatives for KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit dedicated to giving all kids—particularly those growing up in poverty in America—the joyful, playful childhood they deserve. Alexander leads the organization’s nationwide efforts to influence cities to rethink the built environment through the eyes of kids and families living with limited resources. Alexander is also a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum, and spends much of her time working on issues of civil rights and education and criminal justice reform. She attended Hampton University, where she earned her BA in English and Early Childhood Education; and Temple University, earning a Master of Social Work, concentrating in Community and Policy Practice.
